IF YOU HAVE A GROUP/CLUB WE CAN DO A PRIVATE BESPOKE COURSE TAILORED AT YOUR SITE/LOCATION, SCHEDULE, DATES, HOURS. FLORIDA and UTAH MULTI-STATE CCW CLASSES AVAILABLE TOO.

This 16 hour class plus 2 hours live fire range is now required to apply for a NYS/NYC Concealed Carry license, renew a current license to CCW or release restrictions on your current restricted/target/premises/sportsman/business license to a Full Unrestricted Carry (CCW). (And to purchase a semi-automatic rifle.) We are authorized under NY laws to teach this class, provide instruction and a CCW course certificate upon successful completion.

Our lead Instructor has over 25 years of teaching/training, is an active Sergeant/sworn law enforcement officer, as well as Academy Instructor.  In addition to NRA Certified Pistol Instructor certification, he is a DCJS MPTC Police Firearms Instructor, Patrol Rife Instructor (AR/M4/Carbine), Shotgun Instructor and Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Instructor (ALERRT/FBI: Active Shooter Instructor for Police with Reality Based Training Certification)   He is also a Glock Armorer and a Sig Sauer Manufacturer Certified Firearms Instructor.  Top quality instruction with a fun interactive class.  Expert on firearms laws to keep you safe and legal. His wealth of knowledge and positive demeaner will insure an interesting and comprehensive class.

Our class will exceed the New York requirements and will be an interactive class that students will enjoy. Course Requirements:

  • Full Attendance on all days in person. (There is no online/zoom/remote class)

  • Pass the written exam  with a score of at least 80% to receive full credit.

  •  Live Fire Qualification:   4 out of 5 rounds must be on a target 11” x 25”  from a range of 4 yards for the live-fire assessment in order to qualify.

Included in the Course Fee:

  • Ammo, Targets, supplies/handouts, administrative fees

  • Eye and ear protection (if needed)

  • Firearms / Holster (if needed for qualification)

Students Need to Bring

* Valid government issued photo identification (i.e., driver license, passport, etc.)

* Valid NY Pistol License (if you have one)

* Eye and hearing protection  (we will provide at no charge if you do not have you own)

* Sturdy gun holster belt, pants with belt loops (Glock 19/45/23 holster if you own one, otherwise we will provide at no charge)

NOTE:   You do not need to have a pistol permit nor own a firearm to take this course. This course will satisfy the CCIA CCW Training Course for submission of your initial pistol permit application to obtain a concealed carry permit (CCW) in the county where your reside.   Please check with your licensing authority for more info. (NYPD, SCPD, SCSO, NCPD, Westchester County)

We apologize but New York law does not allow us to offer this class/training to non-US citizens (visa holders for student, work, travel, undocumented, etc.).   Also, NY and US laws do not allow us to offer this class to anyone who has been convicted of a felony or with a dishonorable discharge from the military.   Please contact us if you have a question about your personal circumstances.
