Robert Miller, Supervisory Security Specialist

Robert Miller is an active 12 year veteran of the New York City Police Department.  Since 2000 he has held the rank of Detective at NYPD.  Prior to joining NYPD, Mr. Miller served 7 years as an Officer/Investigator in the elite Field Services Unit (FSU) at the New York City Department of Probation.  He was Barry Meyerson’s partner in the warrant division of FSU. 

In addition to the standard Police Academy Training, Mr. Miller has specialized training in Dignitary Protection, Executive Protection, Intelligence Gathering, Threat Assessments and Counter Surveillance.  As an NYPD Detective he is often assigned to the dignitary protection detail at the United Nations and to visiting ambassadors and heads of state from around the world.

Mr. Miller has worked at Meyerson Associates Inc. since 1996.  He started as a security/protection agent and is currently a supervisor of high profile special events.    

Mr. Miller is one of Meyerson Associates’ top requested personal protection specialists.  He provides armed services to our executive and celebrity clients.  As an active NYPD Detective, Mr. Miller is permitted to carry a concealed firearm throughout the United States and its possessions.  This is an extremely valuable service we are able to provide for our clients who travel extensively and don’t want their personal protection specialist to be prohibited from carrying a firearm in other states.
